Welcome to Exmouth & District u3a

Hello and a warm welcome to Exmouth & District u3a. With over 1,000 members and an active committee we are one of the largest u3as in the South West.

Why join us?

u3a is ideal for those who are no longer in full-time employment.

People join u3a to:

• meet up with friends and make new ones
• be part of a strong supportive community
• share ideas, knowledge, experience and enthusiasms in a friendly atmosphere
• develop the fun and passion we have for whatever interests us
• find the inspiration for new ideas, hobbies and experiences
• participate in a variety of social activities

u3a is for people who want to keep active in mind and/or body and enjoy socialising,

What goes on?

The beating heart of our u3a is the groups. There are over 100 interest or activity groups currently, including indoor & outdoor sports, walking & cycling, arts & crafts, music, discussions, and food. See our Groups page for more information.

We have monthly meetings, with a guest speaker, frequent social trips and many other events. See our Monthly Meetings and Social Events pages for details.

Joining us

Members are welcome from Exmouth and its neighbourhood. Annual membership is only £12 and covers all monthly meetings, our newsletters, u3a resources and the national magazine, as well as offering access to over a hundred specialist interest groups. If you’re already a member of another u3a, you can join for a reduced fee.
