Why Join?

The u3a movement is aimed at people who are no longer in full-time employment.

Members join u3a groups for all sorts of reasons. Some want company, others want to make new friends – perhaps having moved from somewhere else. Many people look for new activities when they retire and other simply want to try something new.

Whilst the focus of many groups is on learning or physical activities, some are organised for social interaction. A common thread through most, if not all though, is enjoyment, fun and laughter.
