Sailing – Dinghy & Watersports

Members are expected to bring their own sailing clothing (wet suit, sailing boots/shoes etc). Buoyancy Aids are available. Expect to get a little wet. Sessions usually last about 3 hours, and require at least a little hands-on from sailors. Guidance will be given.

Sessions are sometimes arranged at short notice to take advantage of weather and tide (there is no fixed day of the week/month).

Safety is the number one priority. The Skipper will change/curtail trips on safety grounds. Having said that, it is possible to capsize a sailing dinghy!

Kayaking, and Paddleboarding (SUP): Currently there are vacancies for voluntary leaders of these areas.
