We are fortunate to be able to sail on a stable sailing boat (Hawk 20, with auxiliary engine). The boat is kept on a mooring at Exe Sailing Club. It is the same craft that is used for RYA Sailability sessions (for people with disabilities).

Our session is usually 3+ hours, either out-to-sea or inside the Exe estuary, depending on tide and weather. Members are encouraged to be hands-on, but this is not essential.

Safety is our priority – each session has an allocated Skipper, Crew, and Safety Boat Driver. Enjoyment is also important, plus the skipper and crew are happy to share their knowledge.
