Online Events

Online Events are meetings held using an online technology such as Zoom. For events that have limited participation the numbers attending online are unrestricted. For meetings involving more interaction, the numbers may be more limited to allow for full participation. For details about how to join please contact the organiser.

  • Our Monthly Meetings in Exmouth Pavilion have been streamed live on Zoom in the past and could be streamed again in the future if volunteers come forward to do this – see Monthly Meetings
  • Our weekly Zoom Coffee and Chat Group (every Thursday morning at 10.15 for 10.30 for an hour or so) is always on Zoom. Any u3a member can join in and there is no need to register in advance.   • Some of our interest groups meet online on Zoom, for example occasionally the Computer Group. For details of these groups, please go to our Groups section.
  • Our own u3a Connect & Learn website is always available for all members to learn about a wide variety of topics – on your own or with other members. Why not arrange to meet up with others on Zoom or in person to share your learning? See u3a connectandlearn website

  • All u3a members can join a wide range of really interesting nationally organised online talks, workshops and courses for free with our membership. Most of these opportunities are presented by members themselves; sharing their knowledge or skills with others across the movement.
