Meetings & Events

Monthly meetings: We meet in Exmouth Pavilion for our Exmouth & District u3a monthly meetings with a guest speaker/s, and these are normally held on the second Thursday every month: 10:00 for a 10:30 start to approximately 11:45. The list of upcoming monthly meetings is in the table below. We are fortunate to have very good speakers covering a variety of topics and there is sure to be something to interest you. Where possible we will ‘live stream’ the meeting from the Pavilion for our members who are unable to attend ‘in person’. We look forward to seeing you – hopefully at our next monthly meeting which is on Thursday 12 October when George Hislop will be speaking about Lifeboats.

Interest Groups: Our interest groups meet regularly, and the Group Organiser of the group(s) you join will be able to tell you when and where they meet. Further details are in the Groups section see Groups menu above.

Local Hub Groups: A recent innovation has been the introduction of our very successful Local Hub Groups for those members who wish to meet up for coffee or tea and a chat in their immediate local neighbourhood. Further details are in the Local Hubs section – see Groups menu above. Details of these are also given in our Newsletters see News menu above, then select Newsletters

Weekly Coffee & Chat meetings online via Zoom: All our members are most welcome to join us at our weekly Coffee & Chat sessions at 10:15 for 10:30 to 11:30. The Zoom link details are usually put in the members’ edition of our newsletter, and members can be sent the Zoom link for these sessions via e-mail. Social outings: Our Social Committee arranges a number of social outings and events through the year. Details of these are in our Social Events section see the Events menu above then select Social Events
