This group has been running for more that 10 years, and it is precisely what the name implies: a group that comes together on a monthly basis and discusses a wide range of topics in German – from books and films, to current affairs, holidays, etc. Sometimes we also have quizzes. All the members have a good level of fluency in German. Most of us have studied German at degree level, and then subsequently taught it, and/or lived in a German-speaking country for a period of time. All our sessions are conducted in German, and are definitely not “classes”.

We do not meet on the same Tuesday of the month every month, but at each meeting agree a mutually convenient date for the next one, in order to accommodate the plans of as many members as possible.
